When developing Traveling Mermaid Productions in 2021 Megan Blanchard knew that she wanted to make a difference in the way that conservation education was taught. In the public school system there is only one day that discusses the earth and how we should take care of it. After that, nothing else is done. 

Our goal is to help make conservation education fun, engaging, and relative to what kids see in their everyday lives. This being taught by a real live Mermaid? Well, that's just the icing on the cake! All of our Mermaid performers have varied backgrounds in different areas of conservation education. We utilize each of these talents and bring them to your organization, event, or cause.
